Just a quick post about Boston’s Restaurant. I work in the area just north of the airport. I don’t feel like there are many good lunch options nearby so I bring my lunch 90% of the time (plus it’s healthier and cheaper). The one place near work that I always count on is Boston’s. It’s not gourmet but the food is consistent and not too greasy, the service is awesome, and they have some good healthy options (beyond the usual salad with grilled chicken). If you get carryout, they’ll give you a free to-go drink. They also deliver at lunchtime if you’re close by and your order is over $40. I got lunch from there on Friday and was a serious pain in the ass. I ordered a jalapeño and onion straw burger all KINDS of different (to make it healthier) and they got it 100% right. With a side of good attitude.
Any other good lunch spots near Hillsborough and the Veterans? Am I missing a hidden gem?
